The MELODI Workshop on “Radiation Effects on the Immune System” will be held on April 28 and 29, 2026, at the Maison Minatec Congress Center (https://www.minatec.org/en/congress-center/congress-center/) in Grenoble, France.

This workshop will address

the effects of radiation on immune cells homeostasis and function, in healthy and pathological conditions,
the effects of radiation on senescence, immunosenescence and organismal ageing,
The direct (cell autonomous) and indirect (bystander) effects of radiation,
The importance of radiation quality for radioprotection, medicine and space biology/travel,
The dose/dose-rate relationship to effects (chronic vs acute, UHDR/Flash effect).
